First Part.
A1–8Hands-all, eight slips clockwise, and eight slips counter-clockwise to places.
B11–2First man moves in front of his partner, and faces her (r.s.).
3–4First man moves back a double into the centre, followed by his partner (r.s.).
5–8Second couple does the same.
B21–4Third couple does the same.
5–8Fourth couple does the same.
All the men are now in the middle, facing their partners.



Second Part.
A1–4Partners side (r.s.).
5–8That again.
B11–2First man shakes his partner by the right hand three times, on the first and middle beats of the first bar, and on the first beat of the second bar.
3–4First man turns his partner half-way round with his right hand, and changes places with her.
5–8Second couple does the same.
B21–4Third couple does the same.
5–8Fourth couple does the same.
All the women are now in the middle, facing their partners.



Third Part.
A1–4Partners arm with the right.
5–8Partners arm with the left.
B11–2First man taps his partner’s right foot with his right foot three times, on the first and middle beats of the first bar, and on the first beat of the second bar.
3–4First woman moves out into her original place (r.s.).
5–8Second couple does the same.
