The conventional walking step, in minim beats, is used throughout, except in the “swing”
and “leading back again” which are danced to the following step:
Although Cecil Sharp saw this danced as a triple-minor dance the threes never do anything, so in the Graded Series he suggests dancing it as a duple-minor dance, and casting past two standing dancers in the opening Triumph figure.
