First Figure:   "Leading"
A1:   Up a double and back.  Step R and honour partner; L.
A2:   All that again.

B1:   Ends lead in (middles cast to end); acknowledge opposite and lead out slightly.  Cast round new ends, lead to middle.

B2:   Same for new ends, and in final lead back take nearer hand with neighbour to finish in a back ring of eight.

Second Figure:   "Back rings"
A1:   Back ring to the right half-way, turn R to face partner.  Step R and honour; L.

A2:   Turn L into back ring L.  Turn L, step and honour.

B1:   Ends lead in (middles cast to end); acknowledge opposite and face out.  Those four, back ring to the right.

B2:   New ends the same.

Third Figure:   "Turns and stars"
A1:   Two-hand turn partner half-way; neighbour same, keep inside hands joined.  Step R and honour partner; L.

A2:   All that again.

B1:   End women meet with right hands while their neighbours cast into their place; men same.  Right-hand star.

B2:   New end men meet; women.  Right-hand star.
