An Enchanted Place    Antony Heywood, 1990   Square

A1:   First woman followed by partner goes half-way round outside while others circle left half-way.  All circle right half-way.

A2:   L-hand turn corner (open turn - 4 waltz steps).  R-hand turn partner.

B:   Ones lead in; ones “poohsette” out through twos who arch and lead in.  Ones “twirl” - man drops left hand, makes arch, walks clockwise round partner into square while twos poussette out and threes arch in.  Ones wait for two bars while twos twirl, threes poussette, fours arch.

C:   1 and 2 step R and honour; 1, 2 and 3 step L and honour while others complete the sequence.  All two-hand turn.

Inspired by the Winnie the Pooh stories of A.  A.  Milne.  Written for Antony's wife Jennifer on the occasion of their Silver Wedding, 27th November 1990.
A1: Pooh and Piglet go round the 100 acre wood in the snow, treading in their own footsteps.
A2: The search for Small: everyone goes off in different directions.
B: Pooh visits Rabbit, has too much to eat, gets stuck and has to be pulled out.
C: Christopher Robin takes Pooh up to an Enchanted Place at the top of the wood and knights him.
